Removing and installing the gearbox

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Gearbox attachment device -MP3-478 (3336)-

t	Hose clamps -MP7-602 (3094)-

t	Supporting device -MP9-200 (10-222 A)-

t	Gearbox mount -3282-

t	Adjusting plate -3282/27-

t	Engine and gearbox jack e.g. -V.A.G 1383A-

t	Grease for the plug serration of the clutch disc -G 000 100-

Note

t	All cable straps which are detached or cut open when removing, should be fitted on again in the same place when installing.

t	After the battery earth strap is disconnected and re-connected, carry out additional operations → Electrical System → Rep. Gr.27.
