Removing and installing lateral acceleration senderG200 and yaw rate senderG202 - vehicles with ABS/EDS/TCS/ESP BOSCH 5.7
Removing and installing lateral acceleration sender -G200- and yaw rate sender -G202- - vehicles with ABS/EDS/TCS/ESP BOSCH 5.7
  Note
t  Lateral acceleration sender -G200- and yaw rate sender -G202- are combined in a common housing.
t  The removed sender -G200/G202 - is sensitive to strong vibrations.
t  If the sender -G200/G202- was exposed to strong vibrations or blows, its function cannot be guaranteed.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Vehicle diagnosis, measurement and information system - VAS 5051B-
Removing:
  WARNING
Disconnect earth strap from the battery with the ignition off before commencing work on the electrical system.
Observe the instructions before reconnecting the battery → Electrical System; Rep. Gr.27.
  Note
The sender -G200/G202- is located under the seat bench.
–  Disconnect battery → Electrical System; Rep. Gr.27
–  Removing the seat bench → Body Work; Rep. Gr.72
   
–  Disconnect plug -1- from sender -G200/G202 - (-3-). abziehen.
–  Unscrew nuts -2- and remove sender -G200/G202-.
-Arrow- points in direction of travel.
Installing:
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Pay attention to the following:
–  When installing the sender for lateral acceleration/yaw rate sender one must ensure that it is seated correctly (not under tension) in its holder.
   One should never seek to position the lateral acceleration/yaw rate sender with the help of the fixing nuts.
–  Connect battery → Electrical System; Rep. Gr.27
–  Perform the automatic test sequence → Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051“Targeted fault finding”
  S45-0118
Tightening torque:
Sender -G200/G202- to body6 Nm
