| By pressing the “AUTO” button all deviating settings from automatic operation are cancelled. |

| In “ECON” operation only the compressor is disconnected. The heating and ventilation operation continues to be controlled electronically. |

| If automatic operation is cancelled before switching off the ignition; the selected functions will remain stored. Only the function “re-circulating air operation” is erased 20 minutes after switching off the ignition. |

| If after switching on the ignition all symbols in the display field of the Control and display unit for air conditioner/Climatronic - E87- flash, there is a system failure. Should this be the case first read out the fault memory → Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051 in the function “Targeted fault finding”. |
