Removing and installing the rain sensor -G213-
Removing
–  Remove the interior mirror with the rain sensor → Body work; Rep. Gr.68.
   
–  Unclip the cable guide -1--arrows- and remove downwards.

–  Pull of the rain sensor-1- downwards out the foot of the mirror -2-.
–  Remove interior light → Chapter.
–  Remove centre sun visor → Body work; Rep. Gr.68.
–  Disconnect the plug connector on the rain sensor (under the interior light) and pull the cable out from under the moulded headliner towards the front windscreen.
Install
Installation is performed in the reverse order, pay attention to the following points:
  Note
t  The rain sensor must be replaced each time the sensor system is dismantled. The glued surface of the sensor is damaged when it is removed and this adversely effects its functionality.
t  Clean the contact surface on the front windscreen from any particles of dirt or remains of grease before installing the new rain sensor.

–  Fit the new rain sensor-1- into the foot of the mirror -2- and press against the front windscreen.
