STEP 4)

Unbolt and remove the canister vacuum stay and replace it with the new vacuum stay from the kit. Bolt the soleniod valve from the kit and the
new vacuum stay back to the thermostat housing. See Figure 3.

NOTE:
WHEN EXCHANGING VACUUM STAYS, MAKE SURE ALL HOSES ARE RECONNECTED PROPERLY.

STEP 5)

Install the straight end of the 3-3/8" vacuum hose from the kit to the new vacuum tee and the bent end to the solenoid. Then install bent end of
the 5-5/16" vacuum hose to the connection at top of the vacuum stay and the straight end of the solenoid. Use the new cap to block off the
open connection on the solenoid. See Figure 4.
