Trim and remove areas "A" and "B" of the toe board insulation as shown in the diagrams shown using heavy-duty scissors or an appropriate
cutting tool.
NOTE:
BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL NOT TO CUT INTO THE AIRBAG WIRING HARNESS OR DAMAGE ANY BRAKE LINES LOCATED IN
THE IMMEDIATE AREA!

Install the new evaporator/air intake unit and recharge the air conditioning unit with 1.3 to 1.5 lbs. of R-134A refrigerant.

Re-connect the GND (-) cable to the battery, reset the radio station pre-sets, clock, and keyless entry.
NOTE:
Upon reconnecting the battery, the Readiness Codes status will indicate "incomplete". Dealers should instruct those owners whose vehicle is due for
a state emission inspection (as evident by the state inspection decal) to drive their vehicle a few days before taking it to the authorized state
inspection facility.

Test the vehicle to confirm the noise is gone and that all affected components are operating normally.
