Legacy Sedan 4WD F4-2.2L SOHC (1992)
1. On ABS equipped vehicles, install the tone wheel to the hub.
2. Using Housing Stand (927400000) and Bearing Remover (927100000) or equivalent, press a new bearing into place. Always press outer race
when installing bearings. Re-pack bearing with new grease when outer race is not removed.
Caution: Be careful not to remove plastic lock from inner race when installing bearing.
3. Install snap ring in it's groove. Make sure to seat it evenly and firmly into the groove.
4. Using Oil Seal Installer (927410000) or equivalent, press inner oil seal until it contacts circlip.
5. Invert Housing Stand and housing.
6. Using Oil Seal Installer (927410000) or equivalent, press outer oil seal until it contacts the bottom of housing.
7. Apply Shell 6459 or equivalent grease to oil seal lip.
Note: If specified grease is not available, remove bearing grease and apply Auto Rex A instead. Do NOT mix different types of grease.
8. Install disc cover to housing and torque mount bolts to 10 - 18 Nm (7 - 13 ft.lbs).
9. Attach hub to Hub Stand (927080000) or equivalent securely.
10. Clean dust or foreign particles from the polished surface of hub.
