b. Using remover, press pinion end carefully and remove ball bearing and spacer as a unit. Be careful not to drop valve assy.

c. Remove oil seal with hands.

4. Removal of valve sleeve

a. Remove retaining ring.
b. Remove spacer and take off the sleeve smoothly. 

NOTE:  Scratching input shaft can cause oil to leak. Do not deform spacer as it is reusable. To facilitate reassembly, mark the point in valve
sleeve groove meshed with pinion pin.

ASSEMBLE 

NOTE:  Before assembly, clean parts and tools in kerosene and dry with compressed air. {Do not use organic solvent.)
