Timing Belt: Service and Repair
Installation

1. Install belt tension adjuster.

-

Remove plug screw from belt tension adjuster lower side.

-

Insert a standard screwdriver into the hole in the bottom of belt tension adjuster. Turn the screw clockwise to compress rubber boot. Then
install BELT ADJUSTER STOPPER (13082AA0000).

Note: The clip furnished as a spare part can be used in place of BELT ADJUSTER STOPPER.

Using a syringe, add engine oil through air vent hole on top of rubber boot until it overflows.

-

Install plug screw.

Note: Be sure to use a new plug screw gasket.
