An MPS Controller Set, P/N 31186GA070 is now available and includes the following parts.
Power Controller

The MPS Controller Set offers reliability refinements as well as improved diagnosis through the addition of a memory function.
For additional, general troubleshooting information refer to Subaru Service Bulletin Number 04-06-91, Dated 09-11-91 and the applicable Subaru
Service Manual.
Installation of Signal Controller and Harness "A"
1.
Disconnect negative battery cable.
2.
The signal controller is located inside the vehicle, behind the left side rear seat armrest trim panel mounted next to the automatic seat belt rail
motor. Remove trim from this area as described in the applicable service manual to gain access. See Figure 1.
