Fig. 4  Air Line Removal & Installation

    Refer to Fig. 3 when performing the following procedure.

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Raise and support vehicle. Ensure rear suspension is unloaded.

3.

Remove rear wheels.

4.

Remove rear apron protector.

5.

Disconnect air line using air pipe remover tool as shown in Fig. 4.

6.

Remove solenoid valve from air spring body.

7.

Withdraw height sensor harness from access hole in body, then disconnect electrical connector.

8.

Remove upper and lower mounting bolts and the air spring assembly.

9.

Reverse procedure to install noting the following:
a. Use new O-rings when connecting air lines.
b. Ensure air lines and wiring harnesses are properly aligned.
c. Refer to Fig. 3 for torque values.
