Before installing drum, maximize brake shoe to drum clearance by pushing down on ratchet using a screwdriver as shown in Fig. 7.

Install brake drum, drum to axle hub nuts and wheel assembly.

Install center cap.

Depress brake pedal several times to obtain proper drum to shoe clearance and adjust parking brake. Ensure that brake drum does not drag.
19.
Lower vehicle and test brake operation.
