R-12 SYSTEMS:

Industry reports that several import brands of R-12 were contaminated with other gases. Make sure the R-12 you use is 100% R-12.

There are several types and brands of refrigerant testers available in the aftermarket tool and equipment industry which will identify refrigerants. These
testers could conceivably pay for themselves by preventing contamination of your bulk recovery container. Suzuki recommends testing all vehicles
before recovering the systems refrigerant to prevent contamination

There are several refrigerant manufacturers offering a substitute to use in place of R-12. However, none have been approved by Suzuki or Nippondenso
and some of these substitutes contain ingredients that will cause rapid deterioration of rubber hoses and O-rings, corrosion of internal metallic air
conditioning components, and fire/explosive conditions. The ONLY approved refrigerant that may be used in the Suzuki R-12 air conditioning system is
R-12.

R134a SYSTEMS:

The ONLY approved refrigerant that may be used in the Suzuki R134a air conditioning system is R134a. Use of any type of refrigerant other than R134a
may cause serious damaged to the air conditioning system.
