If the vehicle brake/seat belt warning lamps remain on, check for a short in the wiring harness under the driver's seat. Each harness is separate, and
should be protected by the floor carpet. However, if the wires become dislodged, they may get pinched in the seat track or damaged by foreign objects.
Repair the harness as necessary.
