8. Install and secure park brake cable pass-through grommet to the opening in the vehicle underbody.
9. Install the park brake cable (2) to the underbody retainer.
10. Install the bolt to the park brake cable retainer and the vehicle underbody (3).
Tightening torque
Tighten the bolt to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
11. Lower the vehicle.
12. Secure the cable fitting to the park brake lever bracket. Attempt to pull the park brake cable free of the lever bracket, to ensure that the retaining
tabs on the fitting are properly secured.
13. Install the cable end (2) to the cable equalizer.
