The body control module (BCM) generates the audible warning. The BCM receives audible warning requests via serial data.
Circuit/System Testing
1. Ignition OFF, key in the ignition, open the driver door. The courtesy lamps should illuminate

If the courtesy lamps do not illuminate, go to [Courtesy Lamps Inoperative].
2. If all circuits test normal, replace the BCM.
