Steering Gear Cylinder Pipe Assembly and Seals Replacement - Off Vehicle
Removal Procedure
1. Disconnect the steering gear pipe fittings from the steering gear housing and remove the steering gear pipe Remove and discard the O-ring seals.
2. Disconnect the steering gear pipe fittings from the gear housing and remove the steering gear pipe Remove and discard the O-ring seals.
Installation Procedure
1. Inspect the cylinder pipes for the following items, replace as necessary:

Cracks
^
Dents
^
Damage to the threads
2. Lubricate and install the new O-rings seals onto the cylinder pipes.
