Air Injection Vacuum Control Solenoid Valve: Testing and Inspection
Vacuum Switching Valve

1.

Disconnect the vacuum switching valve and remove it from the vehicle.

2.

Connect the VSV terminals to battery current. Fig. 23

3.

Blow into pipe E and check that air flows out of pipe G.

4.

Disconnect the battery.

5.

Blow into pipe E and check that the air comes out of the air filter. Fig. 24
