Location Of Advancer Port In Throttle Body

6. If a problem is found, adjust the throttle valve closing angle.

NOTE: Do not adjust the throttle valve closing angle if unnecessary.

7. After loosening the lock nut of the throttle stop screw, loosen the stop screw until it touches the lever, then screw it in 1/4 turn more and lock it

with the lock nut.

8. Refer to Throttle Position Sensor adjustment procedures and check TPS adjustment. See: Sensors and Switches - Fuel Delivery and Air

9. If the throttle valve binds or appears to be bent, replace the Throttle Body.

10. Reinstall the Throttle Body on the engine.  Refer to Service and Repair for proper procedure. See: Service and Repair
