Heated Glass Element Relay: Testing and Inspection
Relay (for Windshield Deicer)
WINDOW / GLASS: RELAY (for Windshield Deicer): ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
1. REMOVE DEICER RELAY (DEICER)
(a) Remove the deicer relay from the engine room relay block.
2. INSPECT DEICER RELAY
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(b) If the result is not as specified, replace the deicer relay.
3. INSTALL DEICER RELAY
(a) Install the deicer relay to the engine room relay block.
