Fuel Gauge: Testing and Inspection
1. Disconnect connector from sender gauge.
2. Turn ignition switch to On position, then check receiver gauge needle indicates Empty.
3. Connect terminals 2 and 3 on wire harness side connector through a 3.4W test bulb, Fig. 1.

4. Turn ignition switch On, then ensure bulb lights and receiver gauge needle moves toward full side.

5. Measure resistance between terminals A, B and C, Fig. 2. Resistance should be as follows:
a. A-B: about 151.0 ohms.
b. A-C: about 306.0 ohms.
c. B-C: about 154.0 ohms.
d. If resistance is not as specified, replace receiver gauge.
6. Measure resistance between terminal 2 and 3 for each float position, Fig. 3.
