Fuel Injector: Component Tests and General Diagnostics

Injection Inspection

CAUTION: Keep Injector clear of sparks during the test.

1. INSPECT INJECTOR INJECTION

Disconnect the fuel hose from the fuel filter outlet.

Connect SST (No.1 union and hose) to the fuel filter outlet with the 2 gaskets and union bolt.
SST 09268-41045 (90405-09015)
HINT: Use the vehicle's fuel filter.

Remove the fuel pressure regulator.

-

Connect the fuel return hose, SST (hose) and SST (No.7 union) to the fuel pressure regulator.
SST 09268-41046 (09268-41091)

-

Install the O-ring to the injector.
