Using the second plastic pry tool (P/N 00002-06002-01), remove and discard the isolator gasket in between the two pieces of masking tape
applied in step 3.

Repair Procedure II

Modifying the Rear Isolator Prior to New Spoiler Installation.

1.

Measure 35 mm (1.38 in.) inboard from the center of the stud and cut the isolator.

2.

Repeat step 1 on the opposite side.

3.

Remove and discard the center portion of the rear isolator gasket between the two cut locations.

4.

Proceed with the normal installation process.
