1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Remove steering wheel.

3.

Remove right and left front pillar garnish moldings, Fig. 16.

4.

Remove nuts, then right and left cowl side trim board.

5.

Remove right speaker panel.

6.

Remove right speaker attaching screws, then disconnect electrical connector from right speaker. Remove right speaker.

7.

Remove left speaker panel, then the speaker.

8.

Remove five attaching screws from lower left instrument finish panel. Disconnect electrical connectors and remove panel.

9.

Disconnect hood release lever assembly from instrument panel.

10.

Remove glove compartment door and door hinge.

11.

Remove four heater control knobs and three center cluster finish panel screws.

12.

Remove center cluster finish panel.

13.

Remove radio from instrument panel.

14.

Remove heater control indicator lens, ashtray and ashtray retainer.
