Removal

2GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: KNOCK SENSOR:

REMOVAL

1. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE (See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Injector/Service and Repair/Removal)

2. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER LH
3. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
4. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Coolant/Testing and Inspection)

5. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH (See: Wiper and Washer Systems/Wiper Motor/Service and

21. REMOVE KNOCK CONTROL SENSOR

(a) Disconnect the 2 knock control sensor connectors.
(b) Remove the 2 bolts and 2 knock control sensors.
