TITLE     STOPPER TYPE ENGINE MOUNTS

Tercels, Corollas and Camrys equipped with Manual Transaxles currently use stopper type engine mounts with internal webs (see Figure 1). If any
webbing has broken, do not replace the mount. The webbing is only used to locate the inner portion of the mount in position for assembly. It does not
absorb shock.

This type of engine mount is adjustable by means of slotted bolt hole (See Figure 2). If it is out of adjustment, it could cause excessive engine vibration
or noise when accelerating or decelerating. The correct adjustment for this mount is shown in Figure 1. Dimension "A" should be more than 3 mm (1/8"),
and dimension "B" should be greater than or equal to dimension "A".
