Intake Manifold: Service and Repair

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

On models equipped with automatic transmission, remove throttle cable bracket from cylinder head cover.

3.

Remove accelerator and actuator cable bracket from cylinder head cover.

4.

Disconnect all electrical connectors, hoses, cables, fuel lines and electrical equipment that will interfere with removal of intake manifold.

5.

Remove air tube and if equipped, power steering air hoses.

6.

Remove manifold stay.

7.

Remove intake manifold attaching bolts, then intake manifold and gasket.

8.

Reverse procedure to install. Torque to specifications.
