High Altitude Compensator: Testing and Inspection
Component Testing

CHECK VALVE

1.

Ensure air flows from white or orange pipe to black pipe.

2.

Ensure air does not flow from black pipe to white or orange pipe.

DISTRIBUTOR VACUUM ADVANCER

1.

Remove distributor cap and rotor.

2.

Apply vacuum to diaphragm and ensure vacuum advancer operates in conjunction with vacuum.

3.

Install rotor and distributor cap.

HAC VALVE

1.

Inspect air filter in HAC valve and clean as necessary.
