    The vacuum switch (VS) is not used on all vehicles, refer to Figs. 13 through 21 for proper application.

Ensure continuity exists between switch terminal and switch body.

2.

Start engine and run until normal operating temperature is reached, then ensure no continuity exists between switch terminal and switch body.
