Steering Wheel: Service and Repair

1.

Remove steering wheel pad. On models with 4 spoke wheel, remove trim cover from center of steering wheel.

2.

Place alignment marks on steering wheel and mainshaft for assembly reference.

3.

Remove nut attaching steering wheel to steering shaft.

4.

Using a suitable puller, remove steering wheel. On some models, a steering wheel puller may not be necessary.

5.

Reverse procedure to install.
