1.

Raise front of vehicle and support with jackstands positioned at subframe.

2.

Remove bolts securing lower ball joint to steering knuckle, then separate lower arm from steering knuckle, Fig. 14.

3.

Remove stabilizer bar end nut, retainer and cushion.

4.

Remove lower suspension arm-to-suspension arm shaft nut and retainer.

5.

Remove lower suspension crossmember attaching bolts and nuts, then the crossmember.

6.

Remove lower suspension arm shaft attaching nut and bolt, then remove lower suspension arm and shaft as an assembly.

7.

Separate lower suspension arm from suspension arm shaft.

8.

Reverse procedure to install. Torque lower arm to ball joint nut to 67 ft. lbs., lower arm to steering knuckle attaching nuts to 94 ft. lbs., lower 
suspension crossmember-to-engine center mounting member attaching nuts to 32 ft. lbs., lower suspension crossmember-to-chassis attaching nuts
and bolts to 153 ft. lbs., then lower vehicle to ground. Bounce vehicle several times to stabilize suspension, then while vehicle weight is on
suspension, torque the stabilizer bar to lower arm attaching nut to 156 ft. lbs. and the lower suspension arm-to-shaft attaching bolt to 156 ft. lbs.
