(c) Install a bolt and two nuts to the bracket at the lower portion of the shock absorber and secure it in a vice.
(d) Using SST to hold the upper support, remove the nut. SST 09729-22031
(e) Remove the following parts.

Suspension upper support
^
Upper insulator
^
Coil spring
^
Spring bumper
^
Lower insulator
REAR SHOCK ABSORBER INSPECTION
1. INSPECT SHOCK ABSORBER
Compress and extend the shock absorber rod and check that there is no abnormal resistance or unusual operation sounds. If there is any
abnormality, replace the shock absorber with a new one.
