Blower Motor Control Relay

Test Note

The Blower Control Relay, located in the underdash, passenger's side, is one unit but made up of three internal relays. The test for each relay is
listed in this section.

Relay "A"

Relay "A" Testing

CONTINUITY

1.

Check that there is continuity between terminals 5 and 7.

2.

Check that there is no continuity between terminals 3 and 4.

3.

If continuity is not as specified, replace relay.

OPERATION

1.

Apply battery voltage across terminals 5 and 7.

2.

Check that there is continuity between terminals 3 and 4.

3.

If operation is not as specified, replace relay.
