Install a new gasket to the air intake chamber.

^

Apply a light coat of engine oil to the rubber portions.

^

Apply seal packing to the positions of the Intake Air Control Valve shown in the illustration (Seal packing: Part No.08826 - 00080 or
equivalent).

Install the Intake Air Control Valve, DLC1 bracket and 2 ground straps with the 4 nuts.

Torque:  14.5 Nm (10 ft lb)

2. Connect hoses to Intake Air Control Valve.

Connect the following:

-

Brake booster vacuum hose. (1)

-

A/C idle-up air hose. (2)

-

Actuator vacuum hose. (3)

-

Install the DLC1. (b)

3. Connect negative (-) terminal cable to battery.
4. Check for fuel leakage.
