Intake Manifold: Service and Repair
Removal
Cylinder Head Components
1.
Disconnect cable from negative battery terminal.
(Vehicles equipped with SRS only)
CAUTION: Work must be started approximately 90 seconds or longer from the time the ignition switch is turned to the LOCK position and the negative
(-) terminal cable is disconnected from the battery.
2.
On models with automatic transmission, disconnect throttle cable from throttle body.
3.
Disconnect accelerator cable from throttle body.
