Fuel Injector: Service and Repair
Installation

Injector "O" Ring

1.

Install two new grommets to the injectors. Apply a light coat of gasoline to new "O" rings and install them to injectors.

2.

While turning injectors left and right, install injectors to delivery pipes.

Delivery Pipe Spacers

Place two spacers in position on intake manifold. Clean injector holes.

4.

Place injectors with RH delivery pipe and No. 1 fuel pipe in position on the intake manifold. Ensure injectors rotate smoothly.

Injector Positioning

5.

Position injector connectors upward.

6.

Install and tighten RH fuel delivery bolts.

Torque Value:

9 ft.lb (13 Nm)
