Impact Sensor: Service and Repair
Center Airbag Sensor

1. Disarm SRS as outlined under Air Bag System Disarming and Arming.
2. Remove front door inside scuff plate and opening cover, cowl side trim, coin box and bezel, lower center cover, No. 2 cover and finish panel,

console

upper panel, rear console box and front console box, Fig. 58.

3. Loosen air bag sensor assembly mounting screws with suitable Torx wrench.
4. Remove connector for sensor assembly and remove air bag sensor assembly.
5. Reverse procedure to install and tighten bolts to specifications.
