Engine RPM Sensor (NE signal): Description and Operation
Engine speed is sensed via three pick-up coils in the ignition distributor. This information is sent to the ECU and used to determine crankshaft
position and engine rpm. Crankshaft position is input through terminal G1 and G2, while engine rpm is input through terminal NE of the ECU.
