Idle Up Control Valve: Description and Operation
Air Control Valve (ACV)
Whenever the ECU senses a load from the A/C compressor, the Air Control Valve (ACV) is activated to increase base idle speed. The ACV, located
on the front, RH side of the engine, is a calibrated air bleed around the throttle valve and feeds air to the engine through vacuum hoses. The ACV inputs
the ECU through terminal V-ISC.
