Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Service and Repair
No. 1 Cooling Fan Motor

Removal

1. Drain engine coolant.
2. CANADA only: Disconnect relay box (for daytime running light system) from radiator.

Remove the 2 bolts, and disconnect the relay box from the radiator.

3. Remove No. 1 cooling fan.

(a)

Disconnect the upper radiator hose from the radiator.

(b) Disconnect the cooling fan connector.
(c)

Disconnect the wire from the clamp on the No. 1 cooling fan.

(d) Remove the 4 bolts and cooling fan.
