Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Testing and Inspection
No. 2 Cooling Fan Motor (W/ A/C) Inspection
1. Inspect No. 2 cooling fan.
(a)
Disconnect the cooling fan connector.
(b) Connect battery and ammeter to the connector.
(c)
Check that the cooling fan rotates smoothly, and check the reading on the ammeter.
Standard amperage: 6.4 - 7.4 amps
(d) Reconnect the cooling fan connector.
