b. Check that the cooling fan rotates. If not, replace the ECT switch.
3. INSPECT COOLING FANS
a. Disconnect the cooling fan connector.
b. Connect the battery and ammeter to the connector.
c. Check that the cooling fan rotates smoothly, and check the reading on the ammeter.
Standard amperage:
No. 1 Cooling Fan: 5.7 - 7.7 Amps
No. 2 Cooling Fan: 6.4 - 7.4 Amps
d. Reconnect the cooling fan connector.
