b. Using a torque wrench, check the pump rotating torque. The rotating torque should be 0.3 Nm (2.4 inch lbs.) or less.
2. Remove the vane pump pulley by doing the following.
a. Using the 09960 - 10010 (09962 - 01000, 09963 - 01000) Special Service Tool (SST) to stop the pulley rotating, remove the nut.
b. Remove the woodruff key from the vane pump shaft.
3. Remove the air control valve and also remove the union seat.
4. Remove the bracket and oil reservoir after doing the following.
a. Remove the four bolts.
b. Remove the O-ring from the reservoir.
5. Remove the pressure port union, then remove the O-ring from the union.
6. Remove the flow control valve and spring.
7. Remove the rear housing and wave washer by doing the following.
