Acceleration/Deceleration Sensor: Service and Repair
Installation

BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR (w/ VSC): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR

(a) Connect the connector and clamp to the yaw rate and acceleration sensor.

NOTICE:
Make sure that the yaw rate and acceleration sensor connector is connected securely.

(b) Insert the claw on the yaw rate and acceleration sensor bracket into the yaw rate and acceleration sensor and install the sensor with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
*

Keep foreign matter from adhering to the area between the yaw rate and acceleration sensor bracket and body.

*

Do not damage the yaw rate and acceleration sensor.

*

Make sure that the yaw rate and acceleration sensor is installed securely.

4. INSPECT FRONT SEAT SLIDE ADJUSTER LOCK   See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Seat

5. INSTALL INNER SEAT TRACK COVER (for Power Seat)   See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front

6. INSTALL INNER SEAT TRACK COVER (for Manual Seat)   See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front

7. INSTALL OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER (for Power Seat)   See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front

9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
