The resistance must be measured after the power steering ECU connector and CAN No. 1 junction connector are disconnected.

Standard Resistance:

C --  REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BUS BRANCH WIRE OR CONNECTOR (CAN NO. 1 JUNCTION CONNECTOR -
POWER STEERING ECU)

B --  REPLACE POWER STEERING ECU

15. CHECK FOR SHORT TO B+ IN CAN BUS WIRE (CAN NO. 1 JUNCTION CONNECTOR - STEERING ANGLE SENSOR)

(a) Disconnect the steering angle sensor connector.

(b) TMC made:

(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
