4. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Disc Type)   See: Maintenance/Wheels and Tires/Wheel Hub/Service and Repair/Rear

Axle Hub/Removal

5. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY (for Disc Type)   See: Maintenance/Wheels and Tires/Wheel

Hub/Service and Repair/Rear Axle Hub/Removal

6. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Disc Type)   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

7. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

8. LOOSEN PARKING BRAKE CABLE (for Disc Type)   See: Brakes and Traction Control/Disc Brake System/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Rear Brake (for Disc Type)/Removal

9. DISCONNECT REAR SPEED SENSOR WIRE (for Drum Type)

(a) Using a screwdriver, disconnect the connector from the rear speed sensor.

NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the rear speed sensor.

10. DISCONNECT REAR SPEED SENSOR WIRE (for Disc Type)

(a) Using a screwdriver, disconnect the connector from the rear speed sensor.

NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the rear speed sensor.

11. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE LEVER PROTECTOR   See: Brakes and Traction Control/Parking Brake System/Parking Brake Cable/Service

and Repair/Parking Brake Cable (for Rear Disc Brake)/Removal

12. SEPARATE NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY (for Disc Type)   See: Brakes and Traction Control/Parking Brake System/Parking
