e. Repeat the above procedure to bleed the brake line for each wheel.

4. w/ABS:

BLEED ABS ACTUATOR

a. Using SST, connect terminals Tc, Ts and E1 of the DLC1.

SST 09843-18020

b. Turn the ignition switch ON.
c. Check the air bleed mode display by blinking of ABS warning light on the combination meter.

HINT:  ABS warning light blinks every 1.5 seconds as shown in the illustration to show that ABS ECU is in the air bleed mode.

d. Depress the brake pedal and hold it.

HINT:  Do not depress the brake pedal several times.

e. 1 second after depressing the brake pedal, check that the pressure reduction solenoid operates for 0.5 seconds and the pedal reaches the end.

HINT:  Continue to depress the brake pedal until pedal end.

f.

Release the brake pedal.

g. After 0.5 seconds, check that the motor operates for 1.5 seconds.

HINT:  Do not depress the brake pedal at this moment.
