Air/Fuel Mixture: Adjustments

NOTE: Under normal conditions the idle fuel mixture should never have to be adjusted. However, if an idle or driveability problem exists and no other
reason can be found for the condition, the idle mixture may have to be adjusted.
1.
Remove carburetor from engine.
2.
Remove concealment plug,Fig. 20.
3.
Adjust the basic setting at 2.5 turns out for Canadian models and 3 turns out for USA models.
4.
Reinstall carburetor, check driveability and emissions to ensure accuracy of adjustments.
