Heater Core Case: Service and Repair
Disassembly and Reassembly
DISASSEMBLY (HEATER UNIT REMOVED)
1. REMOVE AIR DUCT
a. Remove the screw.
b. Using a screwdriver, release the 5 claws and remove the duct.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver, tip before use.
2. REMOVE COVER
Using a screwdriver, release the 2 claws and remove the cover.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver, tip before use.
3. REMOVE HEATER RADIATOR
Remove the screw, clamp and pull out the heater radiator.
4. INSPECT, See: Heater Core/Testing and Inspection
REASSEMBLY
1. INSTALL HEATER RADIATOR
Install the heater radiator with the screw and clamp.
2. INSTALL COVER
Install the cover.
3. INSTALL AIR DUCT
Install the air duct with the screw.
