Temperature Sensor (Gauge): Testing and Inspection

INSPECT ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENDER GAUGE RESISTANCE

Connect the wire harness as shown in the illustration,and enter the value in the left formula. Check the resistance conforms to the values in the table
below.
If resistance value is not as specified, replace the engine coolant temperature sender gauge.
